The Trip

Classic Austrian alpine charm, zero logistics.

Every transfer handled, flights booked for you. Fly out Saturday, land in Munich Sunday morning, and a private coach carries the group straight into Kitzbühel — no stopover, no second check-in. Seven nights of medieval streets, lively après-ski, and some of the best skiing in the Alps right out the door.

Your home base is Das Reisch — a family-run 4-star in the heart of Kitzbühel, founded in 1912 by local ski pioneer Franz Reisch. Buffet breakfast included, newly renovated rooms, and the Hahnenkamm cable car a five-minute walk away. Want to see Munich while you're over there? Add a night or two before or after the ski week — just tell us and we'll work up the add-on.

You're traveling with a small group of skiers and snowboarders — big enough to be social, small enough that nobody gets lost in the crowd.

Questions

Asked and answered.

What's the Ikon Pass story?

Kitzbühel is on the Ikon Pass. If you already have one, lift access is covered by your pass — no additional cost. If not, plan roughly $400 for a 5-day local lift ticket. We're happy to help you decide whether buying an Ikon Pass makes sense for this trip and the rest of your season.

Can I add a few days in Munich?

Absolutely. The ski week runs straight to Kitzbühel — no overnight stopover — but Munich makes a great bookend before or after. Two easy options: a downtown Munich hotel (~$275/night, walkable to the old town, beer halls, and museums) or the Munich Airport Marriott (~$175/night, simple and right by the gate). Tell us how many nights and which you'd prefer, and we'll work up the add-on — flights and transfers adjusted to match.

How fit do I need to be?

You should be comfortable skiing or riding intermediate (blue/red) runs for 4–5 hours. Kitzbühel's terrain ranges from easy cruisers to expert — including the legendary Streif. Beginners welcome; we can pre-arrange private instruction.

What if I want to do Salzburg?

Wednesday, Feb 3 is the optional Salzburg excursion day (~$200 add-on, finalized once the group is confirmed). If you skip it, you have a free day in Kitzbühel to ski, relax, or explore independently.

What about non-skiers in our group?

Kitzbühel's old town has plenty for non-skiers — spas, shops, café culture, and the medieval streets themselves. We'll help build a parallel non-ski itinerary if needed.

Single occupancy?

Single supplement available — contact us for pricing.

How does the deposit work?

A $500 nonrefundable deposit holds your spot and applies toward your final balance. Because we commit group space and deposits to our suppliers, the deposit is nonrefundable — we recommend travel insurance, which we'll quote at booking. We'll send the full payment schedule as the group locks in.
