Does it cost more to use a travel advisor?
No. Our planning services don’t cost you anything. Travel suppliers — resorts, cruise lines, tour operators — compensate us directly. You pay the same price you’d find online, sometimes less. We often have access to advisor-only rates, resort credits, and perks that aren’t publicly listed. We won’t promise a lower price every time, but we will promise a trip that’s better planned and better matched to how you actually travel.
Can’t I just find everything online myself?
You can find listings online. What you can’t find is someone who knows which side of the resort faces the beach, which cruise ship was just renovated, or which “luxury” hotel doesn’t live up to the photos. We’ve done the homework. We filter through the noise so you don’t end up booking based on a highlight reel — and so the experience you get actually matches the one you were imagining.
Isn’t using a travel advisor just one more step?
It’s actually fewer steps. Tell us what you’re looking for. We research, compare, and come back with options that make sense. You pick. We handle the booking, the confirmations, and anything that comes up along the way. No tabs open at midnight. No second-guessing whether you picked the right room category.
What happens if something goes wrong during my trip?
You have a real person to call — not a 1-800 number, not a chatbot. Flight delayed? Resort issue? Need to change plans mid-trip? We’re your advocate with the supplier, and we handle it so you don’t have to spend your vacation on hold.
How do I book a trip with SSS?
Start by reaching out through our contact page. Tell us what you’re thinking — destination, dates, budget, who’s traveling. We’ll take it from there with research and options. No commitment until you’re ready to book.
How do payments work?
It depends on the trip type. For most individual bookings, you’ll pay the resort, cruise line, or tour operator directly — we coordinate the booking and your payment goes straight to the supplier. For group trips, SSS collects payments through a secure platform to manage deposits and logistics on your behalf.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation terms vary by supplier — resorts, cruise lines, and tour operators each have their own policies. We’ll make sure you understand the terms before you book, and we always recommend travel insurance for trips with non-refundable components. We’ll help you find the right coverage.
What kinds of trips can you plan?
Anything that involves travel. All-inclusive resorts, cruises, guided tours, ski trips, scuba vacations, honeymoons, destination weddings, family getaways, group adventures, corporate retreats, and custom itineraries. If you can dream it, we can plan it.
What’s the difference between “Join Our Trips” and “Plan Your Trip”?
Our Trips are SSS-curated group experiences — ski weeks, dive trips, resort getaways — with set dates and open spots you can join. Plan Your Trip is for anything custom — you tell us what you want and we build it for you. Different starting points, same level of planning.
